I ordered a can of Thrive Life’s freeze-dried mushrooms last month, and I’m just loving them! Mushrooms from the grocery store are one thing I can never seem to use before they go moldy, but these ones are shelf-stable and taste great!

I wanted to show you a “before and after” of refreshing the mushrooms; I just sprinkled a little water on top, and you can see they instantly refresh. And if you’re looking for more freeze-dried veggie ideas for omelets, I grabbed a few more out of my pantry that I thought would work well.

Omelets are a GREAT way to add more veggies into your diet with Thrive Life freeze-dried in your pantry. Just refresh and toss them in. Yum, yum!

Easy Omelets with Freeze-dried Mushrooms
  1. Heat oil in a skillet. Crack the eggs into a bowl, beat them, and add the onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture into the pan, making sure to coat the pan evenly with the mixture.
  2. While the omelet cooks on one side, add water to the mushrooms and cut up ham. When you can slide a spatula under the entire omelet, flip it over. Add mushrooms, cheese, and ham. Let cook another 30 seconds or so, then fold in half and slide out of pan. Enjoy!
