My kiddos have been big fans of Belvita breakfast biscuits for the last few years. But as I’ve been on a journey to reduce processed foods, I’ve been wondering if I could make something similar myself.
I found this recipe, which was a great base, but I tend to just do my own thing when it comes to a recipe. So after my 3rd or 4th tweak, I decided to make my own post about it. Mostly I just swapped out oil and butter for coconut oil, and I used Thrive Life honey crystals, which gave these a really nice texture. I’m excited to add these to the list of healthy snacks I can make at home, and feel good about including in my son’s lunch box.
