I didn’t do as much as I would like today, but I did de-clutter my “Recipe to Try” Pinterest board for a while. I also realized that I should probably just delete all the dessert recipes to try, because that’s just not where my focus needs to be. Plus, I already know plenty of ways to eat treats. What I need more help with is lunches and dinners!
Amazing how many times I say to myself “mmm, that Pinned recipe looks so pretty. I would totally eat it if someone else made it for me.” then I have to remind myself that I’m the one in charge of making ALL the food, and will be for the foreseeable future. Ugh.
On the bright side, I’m finding all kinds of recipes to try. For snack this afternoon, I tried a new recipe for “BelVita Bites,” and changed it up enough to call it my own:
And when my Thrive Life shipment comes tomorrow, I’m going to work on Thrive-a-lizing this 1-pot cilantro lime chicken with black beans and rice. Yum!
I keep finding out that the more I work on clearing out the clutter in my life, the more I have to learn to love what I actually need to focus on. Even if that mostly revolves around meal times, laundry, and cleaning up bodily fluids, I am thankful that I’ve been able to stay home over the last few years with my babies.
