5 Reasons Why I Love Thrive Life Foods

In 2015, I was looking for ways to help my family transition to real foods and cut out processed junk. I had strong motivation to change my diet, and I was actively searching for better foods to feed my family. I fell in love with Thrive Life foods as soon as I found them, and now I use them every day to cook real, colorful meals for my family. I’ve put together this guide with some of the top reasons why I love Thrive Life foods in my own home, and why you should try them out!

Simple ingredient lists

Thrive Life foods have simple ingredient lists, which is the main thing I look for to identify “real food.” I love that the strawberries are just strawberries, the tomato powder is just crushed tomatoes, and the peanut flour is just roasted peanuts. I love that these foods are perfect for anyone with food allergies, including my husband and several close friends. Thrive Life’s simple ingredient lists are always one of the first things I point out to others.

Freeze-dried groceries

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love freeze-dried food. Before I found Thrive Life, I thought freeze-dried food was only for astronauts. Now, I am obsessed with the science of sublimation, and so thankful that Thrive Life chooses only naturally ripened fruits and vegetables for their freeze-dried groceries.

 Shelf stable meal staples

I have wanted to build a more cohesive home pantry for years, but all I could ever seem to store was pasta, canned tomatoes, and pineapple. So when my pantry became bare at the end of every week, we usually went out for fast food, had something with limited nutrition, or blew our food budget because I just “had” to go shopping again. Stocking my pantry shelves with shelf stable vegetables, fruits, meats, spices, and other staples has been a real game-changer for me.

Non-GMO Foods

For me, a Non-GMO food is a really good indicator that the company cares about food sourcing. Many genetic modifications are made to plants so that they can withstand “traditional” processing. Basically all of the produce at grocery stores today has been picked early, artificially ripened, transported long distances, and sold within a few days of expiring. None of these steps are necessary with the freeze-drying process. I much prefer the non-GMO foods that Thrive Life offers, because they retain their natural flavor and nutrition.

Online grocery shopping

To be honest, I never thought that I would enjoy online grocery shopping. I hate paying for shipping on anything, and I’m used to grocery shopping in person. However, I love the convenience of online shopping and having some of my groceries shipped to my door. Every month I have a Q shipment and I also order free and half-off groceries that I earn as a consultant. I am now a huge fan of grocery shopping online, and I actually get excited every time another box of food arrives at my door.

When I learned about Thrive Life’s simple ingredient lists, freeze-dried flavors, shelf-stable meal staples, non-GMO foods, and online groceries, I was hooked! In just a few months, I went from overwhelmed to confident in the kitchen, and now I want to help others do the same.
